Welcome to Dowsing Place

John Moss’s Place for Dowsing…

My speciality is dowsing place

I have been dowsing and teaching for nearly 25 years. Career number 3 was Director of the British Society of Dowsers for 9 years.

Eventually, though, I was called back to my roots in Cornwall and now, as well as dowsing, I was, until 2023, Chair of Cornish Ancient Sites Protection Network (CASPN) and a Board Member of the Penwith Landscape Project until that lottery funded project came to an end in late 2023. My wife, Jill and I also run Trencrom Dowsers, (www.trencromdowsers.org.uk), a local dowsing group based in Marazion, whose members are often seen out and about at the many wonderful sites in Cornwall.

Experienced

As an experienced registered tutor for the British Society of Dowsers, (the BSD Tutor scheme ceased in January 2018), I have been running workshops and courses through most of the year.  In previous years, as well as in Marazion (Cornwall), they included Northleach (Gloucestershire), Stanton Drew (Somerset) and Gidleigh (Dartmoor, Devon).  From now on (2024) my 1-day workshops will be held solely in west Cornwall.

Trips

Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I no longer run dowsing trips with tuition for groups, to include the ancient sites of Cornwall and Dartmoor, Devon. And sadly, I no longer undertake dowsing jobs.
